What People Say
We are proud to have worked with over 250 civil society organisations and the CSC team has forged some pretty incredible relationships. See below for some testimonials our clients have shared with us recently.
“The report is really great, and the amount of effort CSC has put into it shines through. I feel that CSC met our needs and priorities 100%. I knew we had lots of data, but tying it altogether in an appealing and meaningful way was just not happening. Then, in came Natasha and CSC and suddenly it was all there. CSC did a really thorough, professional and engaging piece of work with Camden Carers and we are very pleased with the final document.”
- Allegra, CEO at Camden Carers
"Our “Health and Lifestyle consultations” report is superb. I was so impressed by the professional presentation and the impact. There is one particular paragraph from the report that managed to capture the topline findings, and the value of our work, really well. The report really should be published in an academic journal and disseminated widely. Thank you Civil Society Consulting."
- Anita, Trustee at Camden Carers
“We commissioned CSC to produce a Social Return on Investment Calculator for unpaid carers services. We knew this would be an ambitious study - because it was/is the first of its kind. Throughout, Natasha and the team were dedicated and proactive to produce a tool that was fit-for-purpose, so it has been a joy working with the team at CSC.
With a good understanding of the goals, CSC has supported us to map and balance our priorities to produce a tool that stands up to external scrutiny. Natasha and the team did a fantastic job of bringing together many different strands of evidence – qualitative, quantitative, secondary data – to build a robust methodology and an easy-to-use tool that lets small organisations produce reliable SROI figures from basic data.
When looking for a partner to deliver on our plans for capturing social value within our network, it was hugely important to us to work with a team that not only could deliver on the complex tool, but which understood the charity landscape, i.e. the challenges and capacity that our network partners are under. CSC delivered not only on the product, but also the necessary relationship building to make the process a positive experience for all involved. Their ability to be flexible in a strict time frame, seek out the right people in our network and keep us regularly informed made for a lovely collaboration.”
- Andrew Russell, Head of Impact, Rohati Chapman, Executive Director of Programmes and Impact, and Sharon Spurling, Head of Network Development at Carers Trust
It is an absolute pleasure working with the CSC team on the evaluation of our joint endeavour with The National Lottery Community Fund, the LGBT+ Futures: Equity Fund. They are engaged, thoughtful and a joy to work with. We have bounced different ideas off each other and kept the co-productive evaluation process agile, whilst keeping it firmly focussed on those intersectional LGBT+ communities who are impacted by this work.
The CSC team not only understand our co-production and changing-the-power-dynamic ways of working, but they also have experience of it and are equally driven by it. I am excited by what future work we can do together and I am confident they’ll be able to support others to adopt our approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- Paul Roberts OBE, CEO, LGBT+ Consortium
“We worked with CSC to carry out a social and community research project (on perinatal mental health) in Bromley and Southwark. The CSC team carried out extensive work and went over and above in their fieldwork and report-writing to make sure that we did justice for the women involved. They turned findings into meaningful information that could be used in the perinatal mental health arena. Consultancy team leader Natasha approached the project with integrity, understanding, enthusiasm and creativity. She was also hugely committed to getting everything done on time. ”
- Charlotte Fletcher, Head of Communications & Developmental at BLG Mind
“We were looking for a consultancy to help us get our organisation ‘out there’ in the community and gain access to financial resources. The CSC team delivered on all of our aims and have helped us identify our next steps. A huge thanks to Francesca and the team for working with us with so much patience and diligence, for taking the time to respond to all our queries, and for being there when we needed support. We look forward to future opportunities for working together with such a well-informed team! ”
- Safura Houghton, Managing Director of the Lantern Initiative
“We worked with CSC to produce a learning programme aimed at supporting cross sectoral development of approaches to tackling loneliness… The CSC team were great to work with, and fulfilled our needs by developing a well-designed and structured programme accessible for professions working in a range of contexts, such as health, local government, voluntary and private sectors.
CSC worked to a rigorous timescale and gave us plenty of opportunity to reflect, test and comment on the evolving programme.”
- Kate Shurety, Executive Director of The Campaign to End Loneliness
“We were looking for a consultancy to work alongside our Racial Justice Engagement Officer, wider team, and collaborating organisations. We were looking to understand the current landscape for racial justice organisations in the LGBT+ sector and to identify key themes, issues and concerns for those organisations…
We were absolutely thrilled with the work done by CSC; it went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for from this project.
The approach they took was highly efficient and well-structured whilst also being incredibly human and compassionate. We had positive feedback from every single interaction the consultancy had, both with our staff and external participants. The report and recommendations produced are of very high quality; they have provided us with direction for the project's next stage and incorporating the learning into our strategic and operational plans.
There is not a single thing I would change about the work Yasmin did for us! Any challenges or issues on the project were on our side and she handled them very professionally.”
- Briony Williamson at the LGBT+ Consortium
“After reviewing our strategic goals this year, ENORB was looking to improve and develop our online presence. CSC worked with us to redesign, update and restructure our website to strengthen the network’s engagement and increase membership… CSC worked diligently with us to agree on the purpose and main features that we wanted to showcase. Rebecca is so technologically savvy… with the team, she helped us to see that we could have a user-friendly platform that is easy to manage from the back-end, at low cost. Some of our Comms colleagues were not confident about managing a website but CSC helped us to bring these skills in house - turns out we didn’t need to spend a huge slice of our budget to outsource to expensive web services.”
- Martina Molinari, Communications, Research & Equalities Assistant at the European Network on Religion and Belief (ENORB)
