Abi Harrington

Abi is currently in the final stages of her PhD at the University of Birmingham. Her research is mixed methods and her interests lie in the fields of socio-economics, employment relations, and organisational behaviour.

Her current research focuses on precarious, cultural work and the digitalisation of work. She was drawn to CSC and their 32 Steps to Togetherness, as she finds the problem of disconnection and loneliness is common among workers and can often be a direct consequence of our economic system, work organisation, and labour relations.

Therefore, she is thrilled to bring a labour market perspective to The 32 Steps to Togetherness and explore how the manual can help workers to feel a greater sense of togetherness and connection in the workplace and beyond.
